Skip spent most of Sunday using a pressure washer on the front brickwork. This had an impressive effect. There are some great geocache locations (big round holes) on the front of the building we can use for a microcache...
Akela sealed several windows (operating under the false understanding that rain had got in through repairs). In fact, the pressure washer was the source of the water...
Push bars were refitted to the rear double doors. This will no longer be a fire door, but its good to have an easy exit.
Two chairs (source Ebay) and a white board (all for the office) were placed in the hall.
Sunshine allowed us to see the new white paint on the ceiling and to review the excellent plastering by the Veveri.
We can now expect another visit from the decorating team next week. Subject to weather, they will focus on external woodwork (front) and internal ceilings and walls.
This evening (Monday) we have a (trusted) builder pitching up to quote for the gutter and board work.
This morning, I spoke with our insurers. They confirmed that we have public liability in play and that this will cover us when others hire the hall from us. The land lords will cover the building and we will cover the contents and public liability. Discussions with the club will nail this down and be documented to ensure we dont end up with confusion at a later date...
